Low-cost airline Wizz Air, in most cases, requires passengers to check in online. Check-in must be completed between 48 and 3 hours before the scheduled departure if no seats have been purchased, or between 30 days and 3 hours before departure if seats have been purchased.
You can check in online here or via the airline’s mobile app. Learn more about Wizz Air’s low-cost airline regulations.
Attention: If you are traveling to the United Kingdom, passport details for each passenger (number and series) will be required to complete check-in.
Important: After confirming check-in, you must print your boarding passes and take them with you to the airport – the airline will charge an additional fee for printing boarding passes at the airport.
You can also present your boarding passes via the mobile app, but be sure in advance that mobile boarding passes are accepted at your departure airport.
You can check in here. In the “Confirmation Number” field, enter the 6-character code found on the electronic ticket sent via email by FRU.PL, where it is marked as the “Airline Ticket Number.”
In the “Passenger’s Last Name” field, enter your last name – omit the first name and do not use Polish characters. Click the “Find Reservation” button – you will be logged in to the check-in process.
Verify all details – this is the last moment to do so. If everything is correct, click the pink “Continue to Online Check-in” button three times. This will skip all additional paid services offered by the airline for registered users.
If you wish to purchase these services, you can do so by contacting the FRU Customer Care.
After the last click, you will see the “Check-in Status” screen.
Select the “Check-in” option, then click “Enter Passenger Information.”
Fill in all required information and click “Save.”
A window titled “Confirm Check-in” will appear. Carefully review all the information and click “Confirm Check-in,” followed by “Check-in.”
You’ve completed the check-in process. Print your boarding passes and take them with you to the airport. The airline will charge an additional fee for printing boarding passes at the airport.
The procedure in the mobile app is similar, the only difference being the use of mobile boarding passes, which can be shown directly in the app. However, please make sure in advance that your departure airport supports electronic boarding pass verification.
